Retirement - Katy Stratton

D01 Sa R2

Well, I've left the orphanage.

Aiden and I moved to the Xyphaleen Apartments, just around the corner from the orphanage so that we are close enough to help.
Number 5, thats ours.

Its much smaller than what we are used to, but there is only 2 of us.

Hopefully this will be the start of a nice, relaxing retirement!

I Am Mayor - Parker Tate

D01 Sa R2

Finally, its happened.

I am mayor of Asbhy Falls.

I will sit as Mayor for 4 years before the next election, and hopefully, many more after that. I have been given an office downtown (in Kai Mountain) to run the council out of, its not finished yet, but I think its good enough to start holding meetings.
As of today, the council constists of:
Myself - Mayor

James Hudson - Chief of Police, Minister for Emergency services

Katy Stratton - Minister for Children
We definately need more council members. Some positions are still empty.
It has been planned that we will hold a meeting once a year (on the 1st, 6th, 11th and 16th of each season).
Our first meeting is later today! I'm very excited :)

A New Start - James Hudson

We've moved.

The police station was sold and I purchased a smaller block in Tate Street. I got my kids back, and the 4 of us are living quite comfortably in our new 4 bedroom house.

I'm working from home at the moment, just until the new Mayor is elected and money for the new station allocated. There's rumor of the new station being built in Xyphaleen. I dont really care where its built as long as its on a different block to the one the kids live on.

We havent heard from Brooke.. I'm worried about her.

My Baby Girl - Parker Tate

She's here.
Mia finally arrived today.
As soon as I saw her I knew she was my baby girl. It was just something in me that screamed 'thats my child'.

I have to admit, she's very cute.

Lupe Rivera, owner of the Rivera Orphanage in Lemon Creek came to hand Mia over, and make sure she was ok in her new home. I think she was pleasantly surprised. And, off the record, that woman sure can dance!

Of course, she had to give me the obligatory 'this is how you take care of a baby' speech, which I was more than happy to listen to. It has been quite a while since I've had a baby in the house.

Mia seemed to have a great time, playing with all of her new toys, exploring the house. She even took her first steps! Right in front of my eyes! I almost cried!

I'm sure little Mia was tired from the trip, I put her to bed without a problem. She just lay down and went to sleep, what a good little girl. Lupe and I said our goodbyes, and promised to keep in touch with each other.

I hope Mia will be happy here. I guess its lucky she's so young, she wont remember her previous family, or the pain of being taken away from them. Hopefully, her life will only be full of good memories, happy memories, and memories of a father that loves her, very, very much.

I Have to Get Out - Brooke Hudson

I have to get out of this town.

I cant stay here. I just have to get out.

What Happened? - James Hudson

D18 Ra R2

I went to work. I do it every day. I go out on patrol. I do my paperwork in my office.

Today was different.

I walked into the family home to find my three children, Daphne, Emery and Eva, had been taken by the town social worker.

I looked at Brooke in disbelief.
"What the hell happened?" I asked. She looked at me, crying.
"I just cant handle it any more."
"... Um... Ok.... Look, Its fine... I'll pull some sttrings and get the kids back by morning."
"I dont want the kids back!" She screamed at me. And than was it. She left.

I had no idea she felt like that.

I got hold of the Xyphaleen Orphanage, where the kids are being housed, it looks like they'll be giving them back to me in a few days. It turns out Brooke had called the Orphanage, hysterical, saying she couldnt cope with looking after three toddlers any more and could someone come and get them immediately. I cant believe it... I just cant believe it.

Brooke has run off. I dont know where she is. I understand if she isnt happy and wants to leave town, but I wish she would tell me where she is. I just want to know she's ok.

Getting Ready for Baby - Parker Tate

D17 Ra R2

I am absolutely thrilled! My adoption of little Mia Grimm has been approved by the Revera Orphanage in Lemon Creek!

This is the only picture of Mia that I have, I keep it on me at all times to remind me of the good things to come.

I have been very busy getting a room ready, the old study has now been converted into pink paradise, with toys galore and a brand new cot and change table! Its very strange walking into the house and seeing so many baby things again! The kitchen once again has a high chair in it, and ther is a box of toys in the hall. I'm so happy!

I hope its all ok, I probably did go a little over the top, but she deserves it... and I did have a bit of spare money.
I cant wait til Mia gets here!
